This was the last video I created working at Adcontent.. and It was a fun one.
Skullcandy wanted a product video that educate consumers to make the right choice and also looked cool, entertained and was on brand. The video is used on there youtube channel and many online retailer pages.
Production.
I worked with Skillcandy to define all the key features, It was established from the start that we would be creating this in 3d so I set out on creating the 3d model. At the same time I presented to skullcandy a selection of audio tracks to accompany the video. I wanted to work this way round as I knew the track could play a large part of the final video and influence the storyboard to some degree. The Tag line established was “Bring the Loud” this combined with our Audio track and the key usps establieshed the building blocks for the storyboard and video to follow. I really wanted to combine the audio and visuals together, making sure that everything was beat matched and key sequences were dictated but the audio.
Everyone was pretty pleased with the final outcome.
